Gorgeous, Healthy hair.

At the start of this year I explained to Mike that I was on a personal journey of change. I had been battling with my really poor mental health for 3 years and my recovery was about to include changing my hair colour. I had been bleach blonde for about 12 years so it was time to say goodbye to the old me. Gently but honestly Mike advised me to take my time, baby steps and together we agreed on a plan. Despite my 2,842 questions about everything hair related, Mike has been nothing but supportive, professional and above all honest about what will or won’t work.

I feel safe in the capable hands of everyone who works here but I also feel safe from a MH perspective knowing that the salon is inclusive of people like me whose MH is complex.

When we finally got rid of the blonde a couple of months ago I was more than ready and I instantly loved it 🥰

Yesterday I turned up and said to Mike - can we switch it up again? So we did and I love it so much! The cherry on top was Ash giving me a new much shorter cut which I definitely needed for the health of my hair but to also make another much needed change and dump the excess baggage that no longer serves me.

I can’t tell you how much I love coming to the salon, I always have such a relaxed experience peppered with lots of laughs and an endless supply of hot and cold drinks. But I know if I wanted to sit quietly and was having one of those days that it would be respected and accommodated - no questions asked.

Isobel (the social media/paparazzi princess) is an absolute darling and I dare you to have a head massage from Tanya and not fall into sleepy bliss! 🤤

I always feel listened to and understood by Mike. There’s usually a thoughtful conversation involving his expertise and my ideas. The cut and colour has been consistently creative, professional and easy to manage.

I would recommend this salon to anyone who might feel anxious about going to the hairdressers as it’s a really considerate and tranquil experience.

Isobel gave me a curly cut, and it’s honestly the best haircut I’ve ever had. I prefer low-maintenance styles due to mobility issues, as styling can be difficult, and she delivered exactly that. She made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment, and the conversation was genuinely enjoyable. The appointment really lifted my mood after a difficult week and for someone who normally avoids getting their hair done I’ve already booked back in and look forward to my next cut. I couldn’t recommend her more.

Absolutely fantastic! I’m nervous in salons, especially when trying for the first time, and the whole team were so welcoming and friendly, I was immediately at ease. A lot of time was taken talking to me about what I wanted, and everything they did was fully and clearly explained . There was a sense of a team who really care about their work and customers.

Mike did an amazing job on my colour - it’s exactly what I wanted and looks absolutely beautiful. So pleased! Thanks to Ash, my hair is in the best condition ever and James completed the visit by doing a fabulous cut which gives my hair lots of movement and looks much fuller. The whole team in the place are lovely and I was provided with a constant ( and very welcome) flow of tea to keep me going! Great job everyone and thank you so much!! Won’t be going anywhere else for sure. Highly skilled and professional team- what a find!!

The service at the salon was absolutely excellent. Ash did a brilliant job rescuing my hair from bleach damage and carefully colour-correcting the results of some neglectful previous work. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Finding the right hairstyle is a journey, and I’ve definitely found the right person to guide me through it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ash to anyone looking for skill, care, and amazing results

Highly recommend! The stylists are all lovely and very knowledgeable. it's the best salon in Bristol. Definitely worth visiting if you want a new look or even just a trim. 👍😁
